Our classes · Pre-Primary
Independence starts here.
Our Pre-Primary classroom is built for a toddler’s drive to do it themselves. Through practical life, sensorial work, language and early math, children build the confidence and self-care skills they carry into Primary.

What children learn
Four areas, one goal: “I can do it myself.”
Practical Life
The heart of the toddler classroom. Children learn to feed themselves, dress, wash their hands, push in a chair, organize their work, share and set the table. Manners, personal hygiene and tidying up are part of every day.
Sensorial
Activities designed to heighten the senses through colors, textures, food preparation and the exploration of sound.
Language
Taught through daily conversation, deciphering sounds and speech patterns, stories, and repeating sounds to name the objects around them.
Math
Measuring, calculating and sequencing are woven naturally into practical life and sensorial work.
How toddlers learn
Learning through every sense.
Young children understand the world by experiencing it. Every material in the Pre-Primary room invites them to look, listen, touch and taste their way to new skills.
