Our story
The year Montessori School of Herndon opened its doors.

The Montessori School of Herndon (MSH) was established in 1984 and is one of the oldest and best-recognized schools in Herndon, Reston, Sterling, Chantilly and the Great Falls area.
MSH inspires excellence without stress by teaching our students to value their own strengths and make the most of their potential. Our teachers know each child as a learning, growing individual and seek to promote growth for a bright future.
We are a recognized affiliate of the American Montessori Society, offering quality preschool, kindergarten and elementary (K–6) education and childcare.
