The MSH Uniform
| A short- or long-sleeved collared, solid white shirt or blouse. | Shirts must cover the chest and stomach areas fully. The school logo is highly recommended and can be obtained from landsend.com/school. |
| Khaki or solid navy blue slacks, shorts, skirts, or jumpers. | In cooler weather, girls are encouraged to wear slacks or dresses with solid white or navy blue leggings/tights. No cargo pants or shorts are allowed. |
| A solid navy blue or red sweater or cardigan, for colder weather. | The sweaters should not have any strings, loops, or hoods which represent a potential danger for children. |
| Fully closed shoes with non-marking rubber soles. | Sandals, open toe shoes, or shoes with wheels, music or lights are not permitted. |
Younger children are encouraged to be as independent as possible. When dressing them, please choose clothing that they can easily fasten and unfasten themselves. For example, children should not wear belts until they can manage them independently.
Please, label all of your child’s clothing to facilitate identification in the event that he/she needs to change for any reason throughout the day. Also, please make sure that your child does not wear clothing or jewelry that can get caught on the playground equipment. Jackets with strings, scarves, and jewelry are especially dangerous and pose choking hazards.
All children must have a spare uniform at school. Please label all clothing and place them in a plastic shoe bin also marked with your child’s name. If your child’s clothing is sent home for any reason, it should be replaced the next day.
