INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

The Academic Calendar is similar to the local County School's calendar for holidays. If Fairfax County Schools are closed due to the inclement weather: The Montessori School of Herndon will be Closed as well. If Fairfax County Schools have a one or two hour delay we will have the following schedule:

* If your arrival time is at 7:30A.M. or 8:00A.M. you will arrive at 9:00A.M.

* If your arrival time is at 8:30A.M. or 8:40A.M. you will arrive at 9:30A.M.

* Pick up time remains the same.

* This doesn't affect the P.M. session.

* Please call the school at 703-437-8229 for the most updated information. We update our phone recording at 6:30A.M.

* Listen to WTOP News 1500Am, 107.7FM, WMAL 630 and TV station NBC 4 for updated news.

If Fairfax County Schools Close early:

Please call the school for the closing time.

The School further reserves the right to cancel classes or alter the scheduled classes when the Director of the School shall so deem fit for educational reasons or for reasons of safety. There shall be no prorating of tuition due to holidays as above provided. We provide a copy of the School Calendar, including our Summer Session dates, to all students.
